Is it hot enough???

Only because I've not had time have I not taken an egg out to the street to see if it fries on the asphalt...something I'm sure my 6 year old would thoroughly enjoy.

Like everyone else, I'm trying hard to keep my plants and flowers alive in the midst of this drought, but it appears that I'm losing my azaleas at the very least...14 of them to be exact!

For those of you considering a move to the middle Tennessee area, we are experiencing record temperatures...unlike EVER before, apparently. So, when you come, know that the weather is not normal for any of us here! It's unbelievable. Looking out at the hills, it almost looks like fall because the trees are already turning brown and dropping leaves. Grass everywhere is brown and crunchy and water restrictions abound.

We're a month away from fall still...it cannot come soon enough!
