Who's Ready for the Opening of the New McEwen Exit?

I drove by the new McEwen exit this morning, like I do almost every day, and it looks like it will be open within just days! Much of the paving is complete, the traffic lights are blinking and stripes are being painted...it's SOOOO close to completion.

Once this exit opens, it'll cut down on the traffic nightmare at the Cool Springs Blvd. intersection during rush hour. The new exit will allow easy access to Liberty Pike. As well, residents of Avalon, Ashton Park, Garden Club Estates and several other developments on the other side of I-65 will have a straight shot to and from I-65, cutting their drive time by several minutes.

It's gonna be awesome, and it's just one more sign of the times for Franklin's massive growth.
