McEwen Exit Open!!!!

At last, the new McEwen exit off of I-65 is OPEN! I drove it on Friday afternoon, the day it opened, and it was awesome! Quite a lovely exit, complete with light posts, sidewalks, bike lanes and even a monument welcoming you to Franklin.

If you haven't traveled it yet, take it over the interstate and all the way to Wilson Pike. It's a beautiful drive. Residents of Avalon and several other communities can now access the interstate much quicker.

Kudos to Franklin for doing this and for finishing 2 months AHEAD of schedule!

Harlingsdale Farm Park Opening!

On September 22, Harlingsdale Park will open up to the public. It's located on Franklin Road, just south of Mack Hatcher Parkway in Franklin. I'm excited to see what the park has to offer and I hope you'll make plans to check it out on the 22nd!
